Anonymous Hackers group took down several Vatican websites including official website of the Vatican(vatican.va) for several hours to protest against the action of Roman Catholic Church.
"Anonymous decided today to besiege your site in response to the doctrine, to the liturgies, to the absurd and anachronistic concepts that your for-profit organisation spreads around the world," explained the group on its website.
Church officials are accused by the hacktivists of aiding “Nazi war criminals” in obtaining refuge to hide from law enforcement agencies. The hackers also resurface the child abuse accusations that are brought by many against the religious institution.
"This attack is not against the Christian religion or the faithful around the world but against the corrupt Roman Apostolic Church," hackers concluded.
