Scandi finance house Swedbank has temporarily closed its
online transaction service after it had been targeted by a DDoS attack, a report published in Register
confirms.
However, the bank, which was also attacked a month ago, has
provided a specific URL from which customers can access their online accounts.
As per the report, Claes Warren, spokesperson of the bank,
said mobile applications and payments continue to function.
Warren said it probably wouldn't be the last attack as its
only a month that the bank was being attacked by the crooks.
The bank said it expects the site to be "up and running
soon"
