Four Indian universities website hacked by pro Pakistani hackers

Pakistan-based hackers allegedly hacked the official websites of four prominent Indian universities — Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and IIT BHU.
The hackers operate under the group code named “PHC Pakistani l33t w4s h3r3.” After hacking the IIT Delhi website (www.iitd.ac.in), they posted an abusive note on the front pages of the website about Indian government and the Indian Armed forces and wrote abuses about Indian government and the Indian Armed forces on the landing pages of the website.

“Greetings Government of India, and the people of India :) the hackers said, adding “this hack is in response to Code-Man’s hack of railways.gov.pk and in the solidarity of innocent Kashmiri People being killed by Indian Army!”

Officials of IIT-Delhi managed to restore the website within minutes. However, the website of Delhi University and AMU has still not bee restored.

While the group said that they have not stolen or deleted any kind of data, they just intend to deliver a strong message to the Indian “government and the people of India”.
