Nintendo to pay $20k bounty for info on security vulnerabilities

A Japanese video game company Nintendo now offers a bounty rewards ranging from $100 to $20,000 to people who identify bugs and vulnerabilities in the new Switch.

The company published a post on the HackerOne.com where they explained about the offers. They further explained that the company  "is only interested in vulnerability information regarding the Nintendo Switch™ system and the Nintendo 3DS™ family of systems and is not seeking vulnerability information regarding other Nintendo platforms, network service, or server-related information."

They are specifically interested in the information on potential techniques that might enable piracy, cheating, or the dissemination of inappropriate content to children.

Here is the catch to win the reward, you have to be the first person to tell Nintendo about a security lapse, and the amount depends on how serious the flaw could be for the company.

Till now the company has paid the rewards to the three informants, but the company does not disclose how much these individuals were paid, or for what information they were rewarded.

So, all the hackers here is the golden opportunity for all of you. For more information visit https://hackerone.com/nintendo?view_policy=true
