A Ransomeware, WannaCry has targeted more than 150 countries at a time. On Monday there were no major reports of the attack, but in Scotland action to increase the cyber security has been stepped up.
The Microsoft has said that every government should this ransomware as a "wake-up call."
The attack has been much severe in Europe rather than Asia.
In Europe, a spokesperson of police agency Europol said that the situation here is much in control now. More than 200,000 computers have been affected so far.
The White House have said that they have paid under $70,000 (£54,000) in total in a bid to get any locked data released.
There is a possibility that the ransom amount may go double up after three days, and they might threaten to delete files within seven days if no payment was made.
A statement released from Microsoft president and chief legal officer Brad Smith, "We have seen vulnerabilities stored by the CIA show up on WikiLeaks, and now this vulnerability stolen from the NSA has affected customers around the world."
"An equivalent scenario with conventional weapons would be the US military having some of its Tomahawk missiles stolen."
He added: "The governments of the world should treat this attack as a wake-up call."
