On July 24th, hackers modified the website content of the Novosibirsk (third largest city in Russia) garment factory "Sinar".
The message posted on the website said "The site is closed at the request of law enforcement agencies." and the text continued by "against Sinar, a criminal case was instituted on suspicion of fraud in a particularly large amount."
The attackers posted a message asking the visitors who made transactions with the "Sinar" to file a complaint against them. They also included actual phone number of the local police.
"We got in in the list of sites for hacking, maybe because this is the result of our significant place in the economy of the region. Little-known company usually are not interesting for hackers. For us this is a reason to pay more attention to the online safety", — said Alena Deneshik, the advertising manager of company "Sinar".
