Now Add Music To Your Facebook Profile And Stories

Facebook has announced new features that will allow users to add music to their News Feed, Stories, and profile photos.

Initially, the feature will be available in the selected countries only like  US, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Both the Android and iOS users can use the new features.

To make this feature a new hit, Facebook has signed a licensing deal with several big music corporations like Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony-ATV Music Publishing, and others, so that users can add a song of their choices to the Stories or News Feed posts.

Users can easily add a song to photos and videos by simply selecting a dedicated new music sticker in the Facebook camera. Once selecting the sticker, the user will be able to choose which part of a song they want to add to their post. The shared post will have the song title and artist in a sticker.

“Adding music to your Stories goes beyond sharing what you’re listening to — it adds context and lets you creatively express yourself. We’re now starting to test music on Facebook Stories and News Feed,” said Maya Patterson, Facebook Stories product designer, said in a statement to Engadget.
