#OpFreeWildan: Indonesian government sites hacked in protest over Alleged Jember Hacker arrest



Recently, Indonesian Police arrested an alleged member of Jember Hacker Team for hacking the official Presidential website (presidensby.info) earlier this month. Following the arrest, the Anonymous hackers started to attack the government websites.

Wildan Yani S. Hari, 22, who works at an Internet cafe run by company CV Suryatama, was arrested on Friday by investigators from the National Police’s cyber crimes unit.

According to local news report, anonymous hackers hacked at least seven sites, including those of the Justice and Human Rights Ministry, the Social Affairs Ministry, the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) and the Indonesian Embassy in Taskhent.

An Indonesian hacker also defaced www.pa-bengkulukota.go.id , Rakernas Supreme Court website(rakernas.mahkamahagung.go.id), prakom.depsos.go.id,  trc.depsos.go.id, outreacher.depsos.go.id.

Indonesian President website hacked by MJL007 from Jember Hacker Team


The official website of Indonesian president,Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono , presidensby.info, has been hacked and defaced by an Indonesian Hacker group known as Jember Hacker Team(JHT) .

The site was defaced by a hacker called "MJL007" from the group with a small message reading "This is a payback From Jember Hacker Team".

Few hours after the site got breached, the Indonesian Government restored the website. At the time of writing, the website works fine.

Detik cited the Indonesian minister of communications and information, Tifatul Sembiring, as claiming that the hacker didn't really hack into the website diverting the IP address that is in the existing DNS soft layer in Texas.

5,000+ sites hacked in 2 days by Indonesian Top Hacker Hmei7


Indonesian Top Hacker named "Hmei7" , known for Mass Defacements, has claimed to have defaced more than 5000 websites in two days(31 Dec 2012 and 1 Jan 2013).

So far , he hacked lot of high profile website including IBM, Microsoft, SIEMENS, AVG, Foxconn. He also defaced thousands of Government websites belong to different countries.

The hacker is not the person who deface the main page of the site.  He just upload a file named "x.txt" or "x.html" in the hacked website.

Recently, he hacked Government websites from China(ga.10.gov.cn/x.htm), Pakistani government site(www.nferoze.gos.pk),Government of Bolivia (cominabol.minedu.gob.bo/x.txt), Government of Greece, Government of Thailand, Government of Indonesia.

He also hacked multiple Madagascar Government sites including Ministry of Agriculture(agriculture.gov.mg/x.txt) ,Ministry of Commerce (commerce.gov.mg/x.txt), mct.gov.mg, egouvernance.gov.mg.
