RedHack claimed to have hacked ISP TTNET, Vodafone and Turkcell


The Turkish hacktivist collective RedHack claims to have breached systems of Turkish ISP TTNet(www.ttnet.com.tr), vodafone and leading Turkish mobile operator TurckCell(turkcell.com.tr).

"Customer data of ISP TTNET, mobile operator Vodafone and Turkcell infiltrated and vast amount of data collected from the systems. +"  Hackers announced the hack earlier today.

Hackers claimed to have compromised millions of records from the servers.

"If we are able to reach these info on their systems with our limited resources imagine what can foreign intelligence agency do. These companies have 90% of the population's data on their systems and they can't protect them." Hackers said.

The have dumped(http://justpaste.it/eaml) some of data compromised from TTNet.  The dump only contains the membership details of Ministries, National Intelligence Agency(MIT),and Security Directorate.  Hackers didn't publish the data belong to general public, "as a matter of principle".

The leak contains information such as names, phone numbers, addresses, email IDs and other information.

Hackers said the reason for these breaches is to prove the fact that no one and no system is 100% secure.

"In the coming days we'll continue with those exploiting the country. No public information will be shared. Our people can be at ease." The group said that they will continue the operation.

14 alleged RedHack and Anonymous hackers referred to court


A total of 14 alleged members of Turkish hacktivist RedHack and Anonymous hacktivists have been detained.

The Word Bulletin reports that suspects were referred to the Ankara Courthouse on Monday.  The operation is against the RedHack group which is being labeled as a criminal organization by Turkish Government.

The Ankara Police Department's Cyber Crime Units arrested alleged hackers from various locations including Ankara, Kahramanmaraş, Bursa, Mersin.

The suspects are accused of being part of hacking attacks against Government and individuals and disclosing confidential information.

However, the RedHack group says none of the arrested people are part of their group.

"All those arrested are not known to us. Every single one in our team is safe. Fascist gov't of Turkey continues it's scaremongering to + "The tweets posted by the hacker group reads.

"they are trying new tactics to cut the support to RedHack. But what they don't realise is that #RedHack have become the RedPeople Now"

*UPDATE: The suspects released by court 
14 Turkish people including one actor "Barış Atay" who are accused of being member of Redhack hacker group have been released by the Ankara Court, according to the Turkish local news report.

Operation Direnis: RedHack and Anonymous Team Up for November 5 Protests


November 5 is Guy Fawkes Day on which Anonymous hacktivists and activists from all over the world participate in various protests.

According to Softpedia report, the famous Turkey hacktivists "RedHack" and the world famous hacktivists "Anonymous" have said to have teamed up for the Nov 5 protest.

The operation has been dubbed as "Operation Direnis(#OpDirenis)", "dirensis means "resistance" in Turkey.   Interestingly, the individuals claimed there will be no defacement, data leaks or any other cyber attacks!

 “Both Anonymous and RedHack are not solely based on hacks, leaks or the exposure of corrupt officials. The very core of both groups are based on activism, in where upon protesting and rebellion is an act of not chaos or anarchy, but of justice, truth and liberty,” the initiators of the operation stated.

 “We are here with you today to warn you of an operation that will either go down in history, or it will be forever forged in the stones of rocks, deep in the shadow and forgotten,”

 “It is up to the people of Turkey to make one final push to declare both their civil, human and political rights.”

Istanbul Special Provincial Administration website hacked by RedHack


One of the Top Turkish Hacker group RedHack announced they had breached the Istanbaul Special Provincial Administration's website(ios.gov.tr).

The group claimed to have penetrated the organization's system and able to clear people's debts to Electricity, Water, Gas, Internet connection, and telephone.

The hackers also provided the proof-of-concept to bypass the admin-login page.  A Simple SQL injection login bypass method allowed them to bypass the login page in the website.

Following the security breach, the website is appeared to be taken offline by the administrators for patching the vulnerability.

Istanbul Government website hacked by The RedHack

The famous Turkish hacking group RedHack has defaced the official Government website of the Istanbul(istanbul.gov.tr ).

The hacker group specified they hacked this website in retaliation of attacks on people at MayDay.

"Hacked in retaliation of attack on people at MayDay and to commemorate revolutionaries Deniz. Yusuf, Huseyin hanged on 6th May 1972" the tweet posted by the hacker group reads.


Hacker posted a picture of the Istanbul Governor Hüseyin Avni Mutlu picture with the following message "I didn't say you can't be a Mayor, I said you can't be a man".(translated)

At the time of writing, the website seems to be restored by the administrator and back to normal.
